Hi so this is my post about Aussie poms they are a mix between a Pomeranian and a Australian Shepherd dog. I think they are a very cute dog and one of my favourites on this slide there are facts and information also facts and a fun ending.

Super Sand dunes

Hi so today Room 2 and 3 went to the beach with the Christchurch city council, we got split into classes with each instructor and we learnt about sand dunes and how sand comes on the beach.
it goes like this... It comes from the mountain- Rivers- ocean then the waves push it onto the beach.
There are 4 different type of plants at the beach keeping the sand dunes together and they are - ice plants, Pingou, Spenifex, Marim and there are also some creatures living in the plants and they are- Geckos, lizards, Spiders.
When we were at the beach we had to get into groups of five in my group there were Lily, Jennah, Tallulah, Sophie, Elliott and me, each group had to make there own sand dune out of sand and kinda wreck it because that's what people do like when they run on the sand dunes and do other stuff so what we had to do was with our fingers we pretended that they were people running across the sand dunes.
Then at the end we had to decorate our sand dunes and protect them from wind at that and we got given paths to put on the sand dunes and skiers and green netting for protection and we also had to find stuff to put on it.

Super S.T.E.M

WALT work together to problem solve.
The people in my group are Isaac, Olive, Raima, and me in S.T.E.M we had to build a zig zag tunnel for a marble to roll in. the materials that we had to use are, 6 Rolls, Tape,and scissors.

Ours didn't go well because when we tried to build it it kept falling apart.

The things that went well are?... We tried our design.

What was challenging?... the part when our creation kept falling apart and not everyone participating

Our next step.. Probably all working together and all participating.

Kmart Christmas wishing tree

Hi so this is my blog post about the Kmart Christmas wishing tree to help others in need for Christmas. Even just like bringing in a small gift that hasn't been opened or used, you will be given a mini paper Christmas tree to write down what age the gift is for and if its for a girl or a boy and you would put that on your gift and hand it in to your school if you are doing it or you can give it to Kmart.

The book me and my group are reading is Wild Weather
its a good book and did you know? 5-10 people in Australia a year die from them.
The one i am doing is what a thunder storm looks like.
